Prof. Claire Harrison

Professor of myeloproliferative neoplasms and clinical director, Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust

Professor Claire Harrison is a consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in 2001, where she is also now a clinical director. Claire has strong international collaborations in France, Germany, Spain and the USA amongst others. She has authored many papers in peer-reviewed journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine and Blood. She contributes to British Society of Haematology and the European Haematology Association. She has worked with enthusiastic patients to create a patient charity MPNvoice, and also works with other patient charities such as Bloodwise and MPN research foundation. Claire is an international expert in her field.

Dr. Murtadha Al Khabori

Dr. Murtadha A-Khabori is an associate professor (Sultan Qaboos University) and a senior consultant hematologist at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Oman. He received his hematology and bone marrow transplant training at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, Canada and Research Training at McMaster University, Canada. His areas of interest are malignant stem cell disorders (acute leukemia/allogeneic bone marrow transplantation) in the field of malignant hematology and hemostasis in the field of benign hematology. He is an associate editor of Oman Medical Journal and he has over 65 peer reviewed publications in regional and international journals.
